How to approve your deck for printing
Printed decks aren't sent to production until you review and confirm them — here's exactly how the approval step works.
Why your approval matters
Your printed deck is not sent to production automatically. Once your cards are generated, we wait for you to review them and confirm they're perfect — we print your cards exactly as they are, so this step makes sure you love every single one before it becomes physical.
If your printed order seems to be "waiting", this is almost always the reason: it's waiting for you!
Until you confirm your deck for printing, your printed order is still refundable: you can switch it to the digital-only edition right on your order page, and we refund the difference between the printed and the digital price — the complete digital deck stays yours.
Step by step
1. Review every card on your order page. Take your time — check faces, colors, and details.
2. Fix anything that isn't right. Use the card editor or the Order Assistant chat to edit or regenerate any card. Printed orders include an extra-generous edit allowance for exactly this purpose.
3. Tap "Confirm & Send to Print". You'll find it in the banner at the top of your order page.
4. Confirm your shipping details. Check your address, enter your full name (an email address can't be used as the recipient name on the package), and add a phone number in international format (e.g. +31612345678) — carriers use it for delivery updates.
5. Accept the print confirmation. You'll confirm that your deck is finalized and ready to print, and that printing starts immediately. From this point the deck can no longer be edited, and the printed part of your order becomes final — it can no longer be refunded or switched to digital. We'll of course still replace or refund it if it arrives damaged or is confirmed lost in transit.
After you confirm
Your order shows a "Confirmed for print" badge and heads to production — up to 14 business days for regular decks, up to 21 business days for the Collector's Edition.
Your shipping address is locked for printing. If you spot an address mistake after confirming, contact support@tails-ai.com right away.
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking the moment your deck is dispatched.
Remember: you keep full access to your digital deck the whole time — downloads and card meanings stay available on your order page.
