How long generation takes

• Free previews usually appear within a couple of minutes.

• Full decks: each card takes about 30–60 seconds to generate, and cards appear on your order page as they finish. A large deck (like a 78-card tarot) typically completes within the hour. Your order page updates automatically, and we'll email you as soon as your deck is ready — you don't need to keep the page open.

• Edits: edit requests are processed one at a time, in order of arrival. A single edit preview usually takes 2–5 minutes. If you've submitted several edits, allow time for each to finish in turn. Free daily "relaxed-pace" edits go through a shared queue and take a little longer.

Quality checks can add a little time

Every card is automatically checked after generation — if a card doesn't meet our quality bar (odd anatomy, artifacts, likeness issues), we regenerate it before showing it to you. A card occasionally taking a few extra minutes is usually this quality loop doing its job.

What "stuck" actually looks like

Progress pausing for a few minutes is normal. It's worth acting if:

• No new cards have appeared for well over an hour, or

• Your order page shows failed cards that never recover.

What to do

• Open the Order Assistant — the (?) button in the bottom-right corner of your order page. It can see your order's exact status, and for failed cards it can trigger a free retry that re-creates only the missing cards (this doesn't use any of your edits).

• If the assistant can't resolve it, email support@tails-ai.com with your order number and we'll take a look.

Tip: your deck is generated on our servers, so closing the page, your browser, or even your device never interrupts it.
